The Urban Alternative is celebrating 20 years of providing innovative and relevant training to church and community leaders through the CHURCH DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE. This celebration is like none other. We’re unveiling a new name, a new face and a fresh approach to 21st century ministry. It is an all-out REVIVAL.
The Kingdom Agenda - The visible manifestation and application of the comprehensive rule of God over every area of life — the individual, the family, the church and society.
A Kingdom agenda is one, which reflects the comprehensive rule of God, so that His way, rather than man's way serves as the authoritative basis for how we live. The Urban Alternative shows how the four biblical spheres of life interrelate and build upon one another so that change comes from the inside out and from the bottom up. In The Kingdom Agenda the individual impacts the family, the family serves the church, and the church ministers to the community. When these spheres of life are properly related to God and one another, life transformation is the natural result.
The Kingdom Agenda Conference offers:
- A fresh look at the 21st century church
- Never-before-done power-packed workshops on relevant issues
- A deeper connection through a formal fellowship of progressive churches
- Advanced-level certification program
- And much, much more!
