I have been a Christian for 9 years and still struggling.....I have heard you quite a few times on KILA, which is the Christian radio station here...You are so awesome and when I hear you on the radio my ears are glued and I will stay in my car till you are finished...I can't get enough of you preaching...I thank God for people like you because I have learned so much...The fire that you bring to your preaching is amazing and I love it... I have always wanted to go to a church with a preacher like you but I can't find any around here...I love the way you bring the word of God alive....When I am feeling down and then I listen to you on the radio it brightens my whole day up. You are truly an inspiration to me and to all....I thank you for blessing me with your preaching... I have been listening to your program for a little over a year now. I can't begin to tell what a difference it has made in my life. I have been a born again Christian for many years, but my faith had become "luke warm". The TOTAL transformation has been amazing ! Through your ministry, not only has my faith been "resurrected", you have taught me so much about scripture that I didn't have a clue about!! Your teachings are always encouraging, uplifting and practical. You always seem to say what I need to hear ! (Sometimes, not what I WANT to hear, but ALWAYS what I need to hear!) I have about a 45 minute drive to church on Sundays that starts at 10am. It is perfect because not only do I enjoy the beautiful drive it is when "The Alternative View" is broadcast on my radio. I always tune in and listen to Dr Evan's. Last year on December 9th the sermon "Overcoming Chemical Strongholds" was broadcast. I listened, I cried, God touched me that morning and changed my life and I have not been the same since. It hit me like a truck! I was turning to cigarettes to help me deal with life when I should have been turning to God. I also realized that Satan had convinced me that I needed to smoke. It was his way of eliminating me and pulling me away from God. Not anymore! My great Father in Heaven has set me free from a 20 year addiction! Very soon, I will celebrate my one year anniversary of God's awesome power. When anyone asks how I did it. I tell them, I didn't do it God did! Thank you, Dr Evans, for opening my eyes to the Lord, his unending love.

Our God is Great! He helped me find you on the radio about 4 years ago, when I needed you most. My husband and I had to move out of state 6 years ago. It was very difficult leaving our families and church. For about 2 years we visited churches very sporadically (mostly bedside Baptist). I caught you on the radio one day, while just turning channels. I was blessed by your no-nonsense, funny, and loving way of preaching the Word. I was convicted, and we got serious about finding a church, in which we are very happy with. I bought all your books(even have my family reading them back home),I love them all. I am a college student in Tampa Fl. It is a blessing to listen to Dr. Tony Evans everyday at 2:00. He taught one series that was very instrumental in my walk with Jesus and that was the 12 part series on the family. I especially like "A father's roles in the home", it was the most power-packed message I have ever heard. I applied the message to my life, I am getting married June 22,2002, and thank God for Dr. Tony Evans obeying God. My relationship is going so great, sometimes I 'm scared.

Prior to ordering your tape series "Stengthening Your Marriage", my husband and I were separated and I had filed for a divorce. Your messages showed me so many things that I didn't know. I have learned so much about the covenant of marriage. You have allowed God to use you, and through you He has showed me and my husband that we can work things out with God on our side. Our marriage is better now that it has ever been. Thank God. I pray that you will continue to let God use you. If there is anyone out there, and they think their marriage can't be fixed. I'm a living witness that God can fix, restore your marriage if you have faith and believe. You must remember and say God fix me, and show me how to be humble. Your ministry is so unique, you Preach the word of God as you teach the word of God as you minister to the needs of the people. You Preach the Gospel, which means telling the truth and believe me you have often stepped on that very sensitive pinky toe, but with each pain I have grown. The gifts and nuggets that you impart have blessed me over the past 8+ years on the various radio stations here in Baltimore have enriched my life.

I have also had the pleasure of reading several books that you've Authored. One of which I use to write a theology term paper dialoging with 2 other theologians. I got an A on the paper and for the class!!

My husband and I listen to you ever chance we get because the Lord has given us ears to here what the spirit is saying, in through you Mr. Evans we hear the Lord you cut no corner in speaking the Lord word that very good and because of the way you bring the word my husband and I are leaning how to respect each other as husband and wife we are growing together in Christ Jesus we are now starting to experience joy we still need to become wiser than we are now but we know through Christ Jesus we can do all things who strength us.
