The 2008 Rev. James B. Daniels
Memorial Scholarship
General Information:
The James B. Daniels Memorial Scholarship was founded in 1994 in memory of Rev. James B. Daniels, who served faithfully as The Urban Alternative’s Pastoral Relations Coordinator.
The scholarship will cover expenses for a pastor and/or his wife up to $1,500. Expenses will include airfare, hotel room cost, and registration fees for the Church Development Conference (Intensive Workshops and Ministry Tour fees are not included).
The scholarship recipient will be selected based on the following:
- Currently pastoring a congregation of 300 or less members.
- You must be an Alumni of the Church Development Conference.

Selection Criteria:
The Church Development Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel, located inside DFW International Airport grounds. The DFW Hyatt offers a magnificent combination of business facilitAnswers to questions should be detailed and submitted in full statement form. Please type or print legibly.
Applications postmarked after August 15, 2008 will be disregarded. The James B. Daniels Memorial Scholarship committee will review applications and a recipient will be determined August 29, 2008.
