FAQ's
1. Who should attend the Kingdom Agenda Conference?
Pastors, Pastoral Staff, Ministry Team Leaders, Youth & Christian Ed. Leaders, Church Administrators, Deacons/Trustees/Elders, Church Volunteers, Community Leaders, and Seminary Students are encouraged to attend. Anyone with leadership potential will benefit from this conference. Registration is open to anyone

2. Can women attend the conference (wives, ministry leaders, community leaders)
Yes—all church workers and leaders are encouraged to attend.

3. What does the registration fee include?
The registration fee includes admittance to five general sessions, six workshops, a variety of conference handouts/materials, and a conference bag. Additional activities such as OCBF Tour may be purchased for a small fee. Conference registration does not include the hotel room, meals or flight arrangements.

4. Do I have to register to attend the Kingdom Agenda Conference?
The general sessions are open to the public. Conference workshops, intensive classes, OCBF Ministry Tour and other activities, however, are reserved for conference registrants. We encourage you to take advantage of conference registration, which also guarantees seating in the main ballroom during general sessions.

5. Can I register when I get to the Kingdom Agenda Conference?
Yes, registration is available on-site. However, space is limited, so we encourage you to register NOW!

6. Are group rates available?
Yes, register 10 participants, receive the 11th free. All registrations with payment must be submitted together to qualify.

7. Will The Urban Alternative provide ground transportation at any time during the Kingdom Agenda Conference?
You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the hotel, as well as to all non-conference related activities. Transportation will be provided to the following conference activities taking place away from the Fairmont Hotel: OCBF Ministry Tour & First Lady Conference Spa Day .

10. How much does it cost to stay at the host hotel and how do I make a reservation?
Just mention that you are a participant of The Urban Alternative’s Kingdom Agenda Conference when you call reservations at 214/720.2020. Rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability. To receive the group rate, reservations must be made by September 9, 2011.

Please Note: The Urban Alternative does not arrange for guest-room reservations. A limited number of rooms have been set aside for attendees of the Kingdom Agenda Conference. Rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis and subject to availability.

11. What is your cancellation policy for registration?
A refund of 50% of all registration fees will be made upon receipt of written cancellations postmarked no later than August 26, 2011. No subsequent refunds will be made after August 26, 2011. All requests must be submitted in writing to The Urban Alternative, Events Department, P.O. Box 4000, Dallas, TX 75208 or via email at cgonzales@tonyevans.org.

12. Is there a Dress Code?
Attire for the Kingdom Agenda Conference is business casual.

13. Does the registration fee include any meals?
No, but Discounted meals will be available for participants in the Fairmont Hotel’s Brasserie Room. The hotel restaurant—the Pyramid Grill also serves delicious, affordable meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You will also find dozens of eating establishments conveniently located within walking distance of the Fairmont Hotel. Contact the hotel concierge for details.

14. How will the attendees know where to go?
Once you've registered, a schedule of the workshops you have chosen will be mailed to you. You will also receive a final schedule detailing what room the workshops you have selected will be held in. Schedules will also be posted daily throughout the Fairmont Hotel during the conference.

15. What if I have an emergency and need to request a refund?

16. How do I enter the Certification Program?
The Kingdom Agenda Conference has partnered with ASCI offer a selection of seminary-level workshops. Those who are eligible for must complete a certification package and contact Rev. Leighton Smith for details. If you believe that you are eligible to graduate, you may contact the Events Department at 214.943.3868, ext. 216 for graduation details and/or a record of Certification courses you have previously taken.

17. Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
You should receive a confirmation letter via US Mail within four weeks after your registration has been submitted. Confirmations for multiple registrations may be received at different times.

18. What should I do if I have not received my confirmation letter by the conference?
Call Customer Service at 800.800.3222, ext. 229 to confirm your registration. Bring any receipt or payment confirmation with you to Registration at the conference. (i.e. cancelled check, online confirmation, bank or credit card statement) Please remember that to be considered completely registered, you must select your classes.

19. What happens if I lose or forget my badge?
To replace your badge there will be a $5.00 non-refundable fee. Visit the On-Site Registration desk for assistance.

20. Do you allow vendors at the conference?
Vendor booth and sponsorship packages are available. Download the sponsorship/exhibitor package from the conference website ( www.tonyevans.org) for details.

I am a member of the media planning to attend the Kingdom Agenda Conference. What procedure should I follow to obtain my credentials?
Media credentials may be obtained by calling the Events Department at 214/943-3868, ext. 202.
